Why do I have to pay a deposit?

To secure your booking and prevent it from being booked by others, we require a £100 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable, except in cases where the property is unavailable, in which case a full refund will be issued. We recommend purchasing holiday insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

When is the full amount due?

The full amount for your stay is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.

Can I cancel my holiday and get a refund?

If you cancel more than 8 weeks before your departure date, we will refund the balance of your holiday. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.

Can you recommend a good insurance policy?

We suggest looking into X Cover Holiday Cancellation Insurance, which can be arranged during the booking process. Alternatively, “Just Travel Cover” is another recommended option.

Does the price include VAT?

Yes, VAT is included in all quoted prices unless otherwise stated.

How will we collect keys and get directions to our accommodation?

What happens if something is damaged at our accommodation?

Please report any damage or breakages immediately to the Rental Manager. You are responsible for reimbursing the owners for any repair or replacement costs incurred. Contact details for the Rental Manager are provided in the Welcome Book.

Can I provide feedback on my holiday?

Yes, we welcome your feedback! A few days after your stay, you will receive a link to a questionnaire from Up Front Reviews.

What if we are not happy with our accommodation or experience problems during our stay?

Report any issues to the Rental Manager immediately. If unresolved, you can send a written complaint via email within 14 days of your departure. Failure to notify us within this timeframe may affect our ability to resolve your complaint.

Do we need to bring a hairdryer?

No, all properties are equipped with hairdryers for your convenience.

Do you supply baby equipment?

Yes, we provide travel cots and highchairs at no extra cost. You can request these during the booking process or contact us to arrange them.

Is there flexibility on the arrival day?

Most properties operate with a Friday changeover for seven-night stays and offer Monday changeovers during certain periods. Late bookings may afford some flexibility depending on property availability and owner discretion.

Our properties typically include bed linen, towels, logs (where required), tea, coffee, basic store cupboard essentials (such as cooking oil, sugar, salt, and pepper), toilet paper, cleaning products, refuse and recycling bags, and dishwasher tablets.
